With over twenty-five years of experience in broad areas of law, advising banks and domestic and foreign corporations in a wide variety of business matters, Appen heads the firm’s Banking and Finance Team.
Appen represents banks in various loan transactions, including term loans, revolving credit facilities, acquisition loans and syndicated loans. His representation also includes problem loan workouts and litigation involving debt recovery and mortgage foreclosures.
Mr. Falcao is an accomplished executive with over twenty years of experience in the telecom industry. Glenn is a prior venture partner with Bessemer Venture Partners, bringing top-tier private equity experience to the Venturepreneur team. As a Venture Partner of Venturepreneur Partners, Glenn focuses on creating and identifying investments in the communications sector.
He was most recently the Executive Vice President at Corvis Corporation, where he was a member of the executive team that took the company public raising over one billion dollars and achieving a market capitalization of over thirty billion dollars. Corvis’ IPO was one of the most successful in the telecom sector in 2000.
Mr. Shah has over twenty years of experience in accounting standards, income tax laws, IRS audits, and overall accounting and financial management. He manages three offices in Washington DC metropolitan area, providing accounting services, financial planning and business planning to physicians, dentists, IT professionals and hospitality industry. In addition, his office provides services to small businesses from setup, incorporation to compiling write-ups, reviews, payroll management and accounting.
Mr. Keth Ditthavong concentrates his practice in patent preparation and prosecution as well as patent counseling. He has drafted hundreds of patent applications for domestic and foreign companies. Mr. Ditthavong has spoken on numerous panels on patent law and practice. He was formerly with the firms of Oblon, Spivak, McClelland, Maier & Neustadt, P.C., and McDermott, Will & Emery.
Mr. Ditthavong worked as a Senior Systems Engineer in the area of voice and data communications with the Bell Atlantic Corporation (now Verizon), and as a Senior Member of Technical Staff with the MITRE Corporation.

Mr. Larry Harvey graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Business Management. Larry has over 30 years of experience in the political arena on local, state, and federal levels as well as many years working with members of Congress both on the House and Senate along with many different governments’ agencies. He worked on many political campaigns from the grass roots level through the planning and development stages. Larry serves as an event planning coordinator for the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute located in Washington D.C.

Ms. Brenda Morant is a social entrepreneur, pioneer and forerunner for the empowerment of women and girls. She serves as President of the International Women's Think Tank, an organization focused on promoting research, critical thinking and innovative solutions on issues related to women and girls. Major research includes “The Third Billion” and women redefining the global economy. The Georgia State Senate recently honored Ms. Morant with Senate Resolution 5 which commends the International Women’s Think Tank for its work to improve the status of women and girls.
