Corvis’ IPO was one of the most successful in the telecom sector in 2000.
Ravishankar “Ravi” Bhooplapur, a tireless Philanthropist & World Traveler. He initially served in the financial industry as an Insurance agent, manager and funded a successful insurance brokerage company Vision Financial Services in 1997. In 2009, he decided to expand into Education and start a Medical University in Aruba. Today, the institution is known as Xavier University School of Medicine. Xavier’s mission is to fill the shortage of physicians in North America. “Ravi” currently serves as the President of Xavier University School of Medicine, Aruba and is responsible for Pre Medical programs in Jordan, Palestine, Ghana, India, and in Turkey.
Mr. Appen Menon, Esq. is a corporate attorney and a partner at Condon & Forsyth LLP, a law firm based in New York. He has been practicing corporate and banking laws for over 28 years. He has been actively associated with organizations that promote trade and commerce between United States and India. Appen Menon was an advisory member of the US Trade Mission organized by the US Department of Commerce in 2007. Previously, he was a Director and General Counsel of US Indian American Chamber of Commerce. In addition, he is associated with a number of for-profit and non-profit corporations. He advices various corporations and banks on legal matters.
Mr. Shah has over twenty years of experience in accounting standards, income tax laws, IRS audits, and overall accounting and financial management. He manages three offices in Washington DC metropolitan area, providing accounting services, financial planning and business planning to physicians, dentists, IT professionals and hospitality industry. In addition, his office provides services to small businesses from setup, incorporation to compiling write-ups, reviews, payroll management and accounting.
Keth Ditthavong, Esq. Director, Executive Board & General Counsel
Mr. Keth Ditthavong concentrates his practice in patent preparation and prosecution as well as patent counseling. He has drafted hundreds of patent applications for domestic and foreign companies. Mr. Ditthavong has spoken on numerous panels on patent law and practice. He was formerly with the firms of Oblon, Spivak, McClelland, Maier & Neustadt, P.C., and McDermott, Will & Emery.
Mr. Ditthavong worked as a Senior Systems Engineer in the area of voice and data communications with the Bell Atlantic Corporation (now Verizon), and as a Senior Member of Technical Staff with the MITRE Corporation.
